Paper Quilling is an art form using rolled paper strips. Original decorative designs are created with paper strips rolled, shaped, and glued together. Original designs are to decorate such as greeting cards, boxes and to make models, jewelry, mobiles, etc.
Paper quilling has a long history that is said to have originated around the 15th and 16th centuries when nuns in France and Italy used paper quilling to decorate their religious items. Today, Paper Quilling has been widely popular as a traditional and authentic hobby craft across Europe and America.
Yamato has dedicated itself to Paper Quilling series as one of the pillars of our hobby craft products. New colors of “Paper Quilling Color Paper” and an upgraded “Slotted Paper Quilling Bar Slim” are now available, along with packaging renewal.
“Slotted Paper Quilling Bar Slim” is for rolling strips of paper by sliding a strip of paper into the slot of a bar and rolling to shape circles. The super slim tip, just 1mm in diameter, allows you to create delicate artwork. The step of the tip ensures you insert a paper strip smoothly.
